Yogacharya Yashpal Ji, Ashtanga and Vinyasa teacher at Divinepath Rishikesh

Yashpal Ji – Ashtanga & Vinyasa Teacher at Divinepath Yoga School & Retreat

Lead Ashtanga teacher, Rishikesh · Gold medallist · Yoga Alliance RYT

Namaste. I am Yogacharya Yashpal Ji, a Yoga Instructor with over 15 years of dedicated experience in teaching, training, and practice. I was born and raised in Rishikesh. Growing up here, I developed a connection to yoga from an early age. I am the Founder and Director of Rishikesh Vinyasa Yoga School, and I teach Ashtanga and Vinyasa at Divinepath Yoga School & Retreat in Tapovan.

At Divinepath Yoga School & Retreat in Tapovan I teach the Ashtanga Primary Series and Vinyasa Flow on the 200-hour teacher training. My teaching is built around mindfulness, fluidity, and breath with movement — for beginners and for students who already have a practice.

I am a gold medallist and a multiple-award winner in state, national, and international yoga championships. Those competitions sharpened how I practise and how I teach. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certified by Yoga Alliance, USA, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Science from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University in Haridwar.

My approach is not only asana. I emphasise the integration of body, mind, and spirit. As a master of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga and the Vinyasa Flow style, I bring that combination into class: the fixed sequence, the breath count, and the teaching skills students need to cue it safely.

Whether you are starting yoga or coming to deepen Primary Series, I am here to guide the work in the hall — alignment, pace, and the habits that last after the 25 days.

Train Ashtanga in Rishikesh

Ashtanga Guidance

Yashpal Ji is useful for students who want Primary Series with real time correction

At Divinepath, Yashpal Ji leads the Ashtanga stream of the 200-hour course in Tapovan. He has more than 15 years of teaching behind him, a gold medal record in yoga championships, and a Master’s from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University.

His classes suit students who want the Primary Series taught with breath, bandha, and alignment — not a performance sequence. Beginners can build the standing work; experienced practitioners can refine cueing.

If you want a Mysore authorisation from KPJAYI, this is not that programme. If you want a multi-style 200-hour with a serious Ashtanga morning, his hall is the right place to start.
