100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Goa
Last updated: Apr 25, 2026
Join our 11-day, 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India. Learn Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa with sattvik meals, beachside stays, and experienced teachers. From $450.
Quick facts: This 100 hour yoga TTC in Goa runs for 11 days in Arambol. Current fees are USD 450 (dorm), USD 750 (shared cottage), and USD 899 (private cottage). Beginners are welcome. You receive a 100-hour completion certificate; Yoga Alliance registration begins at the full 200-hour level.
Note: Prices, dates, and transfer charges can change seasonally, so please confirm current amounts before booking.
If you want to train seriously but are not ready to commit to a full 200-hour month, this is the most practical starting point. Over 11 days, you train in Arambol with Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga, plus philosophy, anatomy, breathwork, meditation, and mantra.
The structure is simple. You join the first half of our 200 Hour YTT course in Goa, training alongside students completing the full certification. Same teachers, same shala, same daily schedule. The only difference is your departure date. Your stay includes clean accommodation and freshly prepared sattvik meals (pure vegetarian food that supports practice and rest).
With monthly start dates (1st of each month) and fees starting from USD 450, this is a flexible way to begin. If you enjoy it — and most students do — you can return at any time to complete the second 100 hours and earn the full 200 Hour Yoga Alliance certification. (Note: the 100 Hour YTT itself is not Yoga Alliance certified; the full 200 Hour program is.)
Compare all Goa pathways before choosing: Goa YTT hub, 200 Hour, 300 Hour, and 500 Hour.
If you enjoy the experience, you can return later for the second 100 hours. Once you complete both parts, you receive the 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certificate, which allows you to teach yoga anywhere in the world. There is no time limit on your credit - come back whenever you are ready.
Some students who fall in love with the training choose to go even further - continuing with the 300 Hour Advanced YTT or the 500 Hour Complete Mastery programme.
This course works best for a specific type of student. If the points below sound like you, you will likely get strong value from it:
You practise yoga at home or in a studio but want to understand it properly — the philosophy, the anatomy, the teaching. You are not sure if you want to teach yet, but you want to learn what yoga really is beyond the postures.
You cannot take a full month off work or travel. Eleven days fits into a two-week holiday. You want real training, not a retreat — but within a schedule that works for your life.
You are interested in the full 200-hour certification but want to try the experience first. The 100-hour lets you test the school, the teachers, the schedule, and the lifestyle — and your 11 days count toward the full programme if you continue.
Starting from USD 450 with accommodation and meals included, this is one of the most affordable yoga teacher training courses in Goa. You get the same campus, same teachers, and same food as the 200-hour students — at a lower entry point.
If this does not match your stage, go directly to the 200 Hour YTT in Goa. That is the track that leads to full Yoga Alliance eligibility.
Goa is not just a holiday destination — it is one of the best places in India for a beginner to experience yoga training. With its calm beaches, warm tropical weather, and relaxed international community, Goa offers the right balance of nature, focus, and comfort for a first training experience.
Choosing Goa for your 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training means learning in a setting where the surroundings genuinely support the practice. It is structured enough to keep you focused, relaxed enough that you do not burn out.
"I was not sure if I was ready for the full 200 hours. The 100-hour course was the perfect test — intense enough to learn real skills, short enough to fit into a two-week trip. I came back three months later and finished the rest."
"Great value. The teachers gave us the same attention as the 200-hour students. I learned more about anatomy and alignment in 11 days than in years of studio classes. The food and accommodation were better than expected."
"Booked the 100-hour as a solo traveler from New York. I was nervous about going to India alone but the campus staff made everything easy. Small group, personalised attention, and the beachside setting was a bonus I did not expect."

This schedule is designed for beginners. Not ready for 200 hours? Start here and upgrade to 200hr when you are ready.
We make the process smooth for international students:
Whether you are coming from the US, UK, Europe, or anywhere in the world, we are here to ensure you feel safe and supported from the moment you land.
The 100 hour curriculum covers all the fundamentals of yoga — from philosophy to practical asanas, pranayama to meditation. You study Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa basics, learn safe alignment, and practise teaching real classes to your peers. The programme is designed so that every session builds on the last, giving you a structured foundation to carry forward.
Beyond the classroom, your fee includes clean accommodation (dorm, shared cottage, or private cottage), three sattvik meals a day, course materials, and a certificate of completion. The campus is green, quiet, and just a short walk from Arambol Beach — everything you need to focus on your practice without distractions.
Hatha Yoga forms the foundation of every programme we teach. It is the gentlest starting point — you hold each posture long enough to understand how the weight distributes, where the muscles engage, and where the breath should go. Through sun salutations, standing poses, seated forward bends, backbends, and inversions, you build the basics that every other style depends on.
The sun salutation sequence in Hatha yoga teacher training helps students channel energy and improve mental clarity. This accessible style allows beginners to build a strong foundation and develop flexibility gradually.
Once you have established the Hatha foundation, the course moves into Ashtanga Yoga — a dynamic, breath-linked style that builds real strength and cardiovascular endurance. You learn the Primary Series step by step, focusing on correct breathing (Ujjayi), gaze placement (drishti), and the energy locks (bandhas) that keep the practice safe and controlled.
Practising Ashtanga in Goa adds something a city studio cannot replicate — open-air shala, natural light, and the ocean in the background. Students often describe this as the part of the training that challenged them most and changed them most.
At DivinePath, you do not worry about where to stay. We offer calm, clean stays inside the campus — choose a dorm bed, shared wooden cottage, or private cottage based on your budget. Cottages include attached bathrooms with 24/7 hot water and comfortable beds; the dorm is a simple shared option steps from the shala. All sit in a quiet, green setting ideal for rest and reflection.
Choose a shared or private wooden cottage, or a simple dorm bed — all on the same campus with the same spiritual atmosphere, safety, and access to the yoga shala.

We follow a sattvik approach — fresh, seasonal, plant-based. Meals are light on spice, free from processed ingredients, with plenty of vegetables, whole grains, fruits, and dairy. Breakfast is typically fresh fruit with poha or parathas. Lunch is dal, rice, chapati, and seasonal vegetables. Dinner is something lighter. If you have dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free), let us know in advance.
The 100-hour gives you a practical foundation and helps you decide whether teaching is genuinely your next step. It is not a Yoga Alliance credential on its own, but many students use it as a first stage and return for the full 200 Hour certification.
By the end of the course, most students can confidently guide short foundational sessions, refine their own practice, and continue into 200-hour training with much clearer expectations.
This is the most common question we get from prospective students. Here is an honest comparison to help you decide:
| Feature | 100 Hour YTT | 200 Hour YTT |
|---|---|---|
| Duration | 11 Days | 21 Days |
| Price From | $450 | $500 |
| Certification | DivinePath Certificate | Yoga Alliance RYT 200 |

| Upgrade Path | Return for 2nd half → get RYT 200 | Continue to 300hr or 500hr |
| Best For | Beginners, short trips, testing | Career start, full certification |
Both courses share the same teachers, campus, and daily schedule. The 100-hour is simply the first 11 days of the 21-day programme.
