Teaching practice Methodology, sequencing & practicum
Divinepath offers a complete yoga teacher training journey in Bali. Many students start with a short course and continue step by step as their practice grows.
100 Hour YTT: Beginner foundation and confidence building
This 10-day program is for beginners and travelers who want a real residential YTT without committing to a full month. You do not need to have completed a full yoga class series before arriving — we teach from the ground up.
First-time students building a daily practice habit
Travelers using a Bali trip to test whether teaching is for them
Anyone planning to continue into a 200 Hour YTT later
People who prefer Klungkung’s quieter village campus over busier tourist towns
Classes run on campus in Satra, Klungkung — a residential setting with rice-field surroundings, daily asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, and short teaching practice. Stay, satvik meals, course materials, and airport pickup are included so you can focus on the schedule rather than logistics.
Campus note: Divinepath also runs a 100 Hour YTT in Ubud (Jl. Bisma) from $1,099 USD shared. This page is for the Klungkung campus only — quieter east Bali, from $950 USD shared. Choose Ubud if you want central town energy; choose Klungkung if you want a slower residential rhythm for your first YTT.
Asanas are the physical poses of yoga. In the 100 Hour YTT in Bali you will learn basic standing, seated and gentle backbend postures. Each pose is taught step-by-step with attention to safe alignment so you build strength, flexibility and calm. The focus is on doing poses correctly and understanding the benefit of each one.
Pranayama means breath practice. You will learn simple breathing techniques such as deep diaphragmatic breathing, alternate nostril breath (Anulom Vilom), and gentle cleansing breaths. These practices calm the mind, increase energy and help you control breath during movement.
Meditation helps you settle the mind. In this course we introduce short, easy practices like breath awareness, guided sits and simple mindfulness exercises. The aim is to build a steady daily habit that supports your yoga practice and wellbeing.
Mantra chanting uses simple sounds or words to steady attention and create a calm group energy. You will learn a few short mantras (like "Om") and basic pronunciation so you can chant with ease. Chanting is optional but useful to feel connected and relaxed.
We cover simple body basics so you understand movement and safety. Topics include bones, major muscles, breathing mechanics, common injuries and how to protect students. The goal is practical: help you teach safe classes and support different bodies.
Alignment teaches how to place the body safely in each pose. You will learn simple cues and gentle hands-on adjustments (with consent) so you can help others improve posture and avoid injury. Lessons are practical and easy to apply.
We introduce key ideas from yoga philosophy in simple language. Topics include the Yoga Sutras, the eight limbs, and how ancient teachings apply to modern life. These lessons help you teach with clarity and live more mindfully.
Shatkarmas are gentle cleansing exercises. In this introductory course we explain simple, safe practices and their purpose (like nasal cleansing techniques and breath cleanses). These are taught carefully with hygiene and safety in mind.
This section helps you learn how to lead a class: planning a safe sequence, giving clear instructions, using voice and space, offering modifications, and giving supportive feedback. You will practice short teaching sessions and receive kind, useful feedback from teachers and peers.
What a Student Day Feels Like
Sample days — Day 1, Day 5, Day 10
Day 1 — Arrival & orientation
You settle into your room, meet the group, and walk through the campus and daily schedule. Morning starts gently with breathwork and a Hatha foundation class so teachers can see your baseline. Afternoon covers orientation, house rules, and your first short philosophy introduction — no teaching pressure yet.
Day 5 — Mid-course rhythm
By mid-week the 6:30am–7pm structure feels familiar. You practice Vinyasa in the afternoon, review alignment cues in methodology class, and try leading a short segment for peers. Rest blocks and satvik meals keep the intensity manageable for beginners.
Day 10 — Close & next steps
Final practice and teaching feedback wrap the course. You receive your Certificate of Completion for the 100-hour program and a clear handoff if you want to continue into the Klungkung 200 Hour YTT — many students book the next monthly intake while the momentum is fresh.

Why Choose a 10-Day Yoga Teacher Training in Bali?
Safe & Accessible Location
Our Klungkung campus sits in a quieter, more local part of east Bali — away from Ubud’s tourist bustle. Students who want a slower coastal-rural rhythm and a focused residential setting often prefer this location for their first YTT.
Ideal Learning Environment
Klungkung’s open air and village pace suit short intensive study. The 10-day format lets you test teacher training without a long commitment — a practical entry point before deciding on a 200-hour certification.
Synchronized Syllabus
The Klungkung syllabus follows Yoga Alliance standards with Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy. Faculty including Yogi Ashish Ji and the Klungkung team keep groups small and alignment-focused.
Comfort & Satvik Living
On-campus accommodation and satvik vegetarian meals are included. The quieter Klungkung setting supports rest between practice blocks throughout the 10-day program.

Core Practices: Fundamentals of Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Pranayama, and Meditation.
Living Yoga: Mantra chanting and yoga philosophy applied to modern life.
Stay & Meals: Hygienic accommodation and fresh Satvik food to bring mental calmness and fuel your practice.
Hatha Yoga Module
In our 100 hour yoga teacher training course, we give students a brief yet solid foundation in Hatha Yoga. This style focuses on posture (asana) and muscle strength, helping you find balance between body and mind.
You will learn the classical Sun Salutation to channel energy and improve stability. While gentle, Hatha Yoga leaves a strong effect on the mind, strengthening muscles and significantly improving flexibility.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Module
Our trained teachers also introduce Ashtanga Yoga, a dynamic style that synchronizes breath with movement. This practice builds endurance, core strength, and deep concentration, fostering self-discipline.
This dynamic form helps stabilize emotions and makes the body steady. Incorporating Ashtanga into your routine brings new energy and readiness to take on challenges, both on and off the mat.
Career Path
Is the 100 Hour YTT Good for a Yoga Career?
Taking yoga as a career is a rewarding path that keeps you healthy and disciplined. The 100-hour course gives a quick overview of yoga styles and philosophies, helping you stand confident as a student. Training is offered by a Yoga Alliance Registered School (YA ID 457520) — verify our public profile before you book.
The 100-hour course builds a strong foundation and helps you decide whether to continue toward a 200-hour teaching certification.
After this course, you will be eligible to assist in classes or pursue advanced courses to get better placements at wellness centers, retreats, or fitness studios.
10-Day Format
Short Yoga Teacher Training in Bali — Is 10 Days Enough?
Yes — if your goal is a focused foundation, not a full RYT-200. The 10-day 100-hour YTT covers daily asana (Hatha and Vinyasa), pranayama, meditation, philosophy, and short teaching practice. You leave with a Certificate of Completion and enough structure to keep a home practice going — or to decide whether a longer 200-hour training is next.
It is not a substitute for the 200-hour pathway if you want Yoga Alliance RYT-200 registration. It is enough when you want a residential immersion that fits a two-week Bali trip, builds confidence on the mat, and removes the guesswork before a longer commitment.

Divinepath's 100 Hour course in Klungkung teaches teaching basics and awards a Certificate of Completion; to teach professionally under Yoga Alliance, continue into the 200 Hour YTT. Many students use the 100-hour as a 10-day trial before committing to the longer program.
You can assist, share practice informally, or teach in limited settings depending on local rules, but a 100-hour course alone does not grant Yoga Alliance RYT-200 status.
