As a yoga teacher, knowing about anatomy is essential to leading a healthy practice better and helping students understand what’s going on in the body. Studying anatomy will allow you to lead classes with more explicit instruction, tell your students which body parts should be contracting and relaxing in various poses, and better understand weak, tight, and injured areas. You’ll leave with a greater understanding of the different systems of the body and how yoga can impact these various areas. In this module, you will learn how to sequence and theme a class so that your classes move seamlessly, your students can connect with themselves, and they can experience all of the intended benefits of their practice. You will also learn how physical and verbal cues and adjustments can help your students tune into their bodies and achieve a safe and intelligent mind-body connection.

You’ll learn about: Constructing, sequencing, and theming a class How to structure a yoga class by building postural arcs and valleys How to safely provide physical and verbal adjustments and modifications

This is due to the best part of India where the vibe is so laid back yet spiritually engaging that it attracts some of the finest instructors, renowned for their hoarding with years of experience and sheer dedication to what they do.

A beach town called Agonda is one among such, gifting the world to its cities with elite yoga schools promising Ashtanga yoga teacher training Goa. These courses have been set up in retread in silence and serenity, where the students devote themselves to learning practices without attention-stealing elements. The rolling sound of waves, the angelic sea breeze, and heaven's evening beauty all paint that environment, prompting practitioners to think and connect richly with what is inside.

Goa also has an active and lively yoga community, thus drawing more like-minded people together. Workshops, retreats, and drop-in classes can be found around the place, creating a heaven on Earth for anyone who possesses the yoga passion fiery enough to reach out to the rest of the world.

Advanced Ashtanga Practice

Ashtanga yoga training is one of the hottest products in Goa and is an energetic and physically exacting form of yoga. Tradition-based, Ashtanga yoga carries out a certain sequence of postures connected by breathing that strength, flexibility, endurance and discipline. It has been created for those practitioners seeking an organised and disciplined form of practice.

Many such yoga schools in Goa offer teacher training for Ashtanga yoga. They even have special courses to teach students into deep philosophies, anatomy, and bondage applications of this tiring practice. Students are taught by teachers who train them through the primary series, such that they have to learn those asanas' alignments, transitions, and breathing techniques before they can master the practice. Whether your aspiration is self-practice or teaching, these courses will surely bring about transformation.

Ashtanga Yoga training gives benefits. One is a mental aspect, namely clarity of mind and mindfulness. Breath synchronises as the body moves, producing a meditative flow for practitioners, enabling inner peace to be discovered even while doing challenging physical activity. There's a sense of holistic well-being that such students might carry away in their ever-deepening understanding of the body and mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

faq_bar_line

The 300 hour yoga teacher training or TTC is worth it for those who wish to pursue their practice further and refine their teaching skills. It goes beyond the basic 200-hour training and covers many complex asanas and advanced pranayama techniques along with the yoga philosophy and method of teaching. It educates you with in-depth knowledge and enhances the confidence you need to teach different styles of yoga. Furthermore, it qualifies you for potential opportunities beyond national borders for teaching and adds to your practice's overall growth.

faq_bar_line

Such a course will offer you good depth in anatomy, a richer picture of philosophy, and higher-level expertise for teaching advance yoga classes. You will also learn how to specialise in Hatha yoga or Ashtanga yoga teacher training courses, making you more flexible as a teacher. Besides, the advanced techniques you make your classes more efficient while creating links between you and your students. Getting such certifications as Yoga Alliance International will increase your acceptability and recognition throughout the world.

faq_bar_line

There is a difference between the two in terms of depth and understanding. The 200-hour training is like a foundation program where postures and philosophies are introduced, along with teaching techniques. It acts beneficially for beginners aspiring to become certified instructors. The 300 hour training, on the other hand, is an advanced-level course building the 200 hours, involving more advanced poses, advanced alignment, and in-depth anatomy. This is primarily meant for mature practitioners who want to take their teaching and practice to the next level.

faq_bar_line

The decision is based on the earlier experience you have or what your goal is. If you're just about starting to teach, it is advisable to go for the 200-hour yoga teacher training, as it serves as an introduction towards becoming a certified yoga instructor. On the other hand, a 300 hour course is suitable for an already completed 200-hour training course to add essential skills or even learn other styles of yoga like Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training.

faq_bar_line

The certification from Yoga Alliance is the certification most accepted world over as a credential for yoga teachers. This is a worldwide certificate that recognises your training to teach yoga in studios, wellness retreats, or even through online courses that are available worldwide. Any training that gives this type of certification such as RYS 300 is guaranteed to have high-quality instruction meeting international standards.

faq_bar_line

Yoga certification is not legally necessary in India to qualify a person to teach yoga. However, obtaining some recognised credentials as Yoga Alliance credentials or Yoga Alliance International certificate enormously adds credibility and marketability to your profile, and also assures the students regarding your professionalism and expertise.

faq_bar_line

TTC is abbreviated for Teacher Training Course, which are structured format to teach people the art and science of teaching yoga.

faq_bar_line

RYS 300: Registered Yoga School 300 Hour, meaning that this yoga school is accredited by Yoga Alliance to offer advanced 300 hour teacher training courses.

faq_bar_line

RYS is the abbreviation for Registered Yoga School, a certification given to institutions providing accredited yoga teacher training programs. RYT meanwhile stands for Registered Yoga Teacher, a title for any person who has undergone training from an RYS and registered with Yoga Alliance.
