Asanas are the yoga postures you practice to build strength, flexibility and balance. In this 300-hour course you will deepen your asana practice and learn safe progressions for teaching.
Sample poses and focus areas you’ll cover:
Tadasana, Trikonasana, Virabhadrasana I & II, Parsvakonasana, Uttanasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana, Balasana, Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana, Setu Bandha, Salabhasana, Ustrasana, Paschimottanasana and more.
Weekly structure (example):
Week 1 — foundational standing and sitting postures, Sun salutations, gentle flows.
Week 2 — standing balance, twists, intermediate standing sequences and deeper seated poses.
Week 3 — advanced sequencing, arm balances, inversions and practice teaching.
