Naveen Ji – Ashtanga & Alignment Instructor at Divine Path Retreat

Ashtanga & Alignment Instructor

Naveen ji has had a very interesting journey to becoming a yoga teacher! He didn’t start out in yoga. At first, he studied mechanical engineering, which is all about machines and how they work. But after some time, he realized that working with machines didn’t make him happy. His heart wanted something different — something that felt more peaceful and special. So, Naveen Ji decided to leave his engineering job and follow his true passion: yoga.

In 2015, Naveen Ji traveled to Rishikesh, a place in India known as the Yoga Capital of the World. This is where he started learning yoga in a big way! He studied hard and earned a Master’s degree in two types of yoga: Ashtanga Vinyasa and Alignment Instructor. This helped him learn how yoga can make us stronger, healthier, and more peaceful inside.

Naveen Ji loves teaching two styles of yoga. Ashtanga Yoga is all about doing poses in a certain order, while Vinyasa Flow is more about moving smoothly from one pose to another while you breathe. He mixes both styles in his classes, which helps students feel calm but also strong and energized!

Now, Naveen Ji teaches yoga at DivinePath Retreat in Rishikesh. His classes are fun and flexible, so whether you’re just starting yoga or have been practicing for a while, there’s something for everyone. He believes yoga is for everyone, and it helps us grow, not just on the outside, but on the inside too.

One thing that makes Naveen Ji’s classes special is how he helps students feel safe while they practice. He focuses on making sure everyone is doing the poses the right way, so no one gets hurt. His classes can be gentle and relaxing, or a little more challenging to help you build strength and flexibility.
